- Up to approximately 2 minutes after applying each section: allow the coating to flash, then level and buff it. Temperature, humidity and airflow can affect flash time, so watch the surface rather than relying only on the clock.
- First 3 hours: where possible, leave the vehicle stationary and protected from contamination. Allow approximately three hours before driving.
- First 8 hours: keep the vehicle dry. Protect it from rain, water, dew, sprinklers and washing for at least eight hours.
- First 7 days: avoid unnecessary contact with the paint. Do not apply waxes, sealants or other detailing products while the coating continues to build and harden.
- First 15 days: do not wash the vehicle or apply a ceramic maintenance or top coating.

What is the difference between flash time and cure time?
Flash time is the short period after a section has been coated and before the excess is levelled and buffed. With Pure Gloss Pro 9H, this is up to approximately two minutes, but the visible change in the coating is the more useful guide because working conditions affect timing.
Cure time begins after application. During curing, the coating continues to build and harden. A surface that looks clear and feels dry is not necessarily ready for rain, washing or added products.

When can you drive after applying Pure Gloss Pro 9H?
Allow approximately three hours before driving. Where possible, keep the vehicle stationary and protected from contamination during this initial period.
If the vehicle must be used soon after application, plan the installation so the complete three-hour period can pass first. Remember that being ready to drive does not mean the coating is ready to get wet: the vehicle still needs to remain dry for at least eight hours.
How long must the coating stay dry?
Keep Pure Gloss Pro 9H dry for at least eight hours after application. This includes protection from rain, dew, sprinklers and washing.
Check the forecast before starting and use a clean, dry, well-ventilated and protected working area. If unexpected water reaches the vehicle during the first eight hours, move it under cover where possible. Do not apply an unapproved cleaner, wax, sealant or topper in an attempt to correct it. Can you apply wax, sealant or a topper while it cures?
No. During the first seven days, do not apply waxes, sealants or other detailing products. Continue to avoid ceramic maintenance products and top coatings until the 15-day cure period has passed.
Adding another product too early is unnecessary and conflicts with the Pure Gloss Pro 9H curing instructions.
